14 DAY TRIAL // Today, Versace and ModeLabs Group announced the launch of a new mobile phone, the Versace Unique. Delivered to the market as the first luxury touchscreen device that sports full-featured multimedia capabilities, the new handset is set to become available for purchase in early June via important exclusive watch and fine jewelry networks and through Versace flagship boutiques all around the world.

The Versace Unique comes with all the essential features that are required for professional and personal use. The luxury phone has been crafted from the finest materials, the company states, adding that it sports the uncompromising standards of all Versace products and that it has been hand-assembled in France. Pure high-tech ceramic or handmade lacquers are present on the phone's front, with an 18K yellow gold finish and 316L grade stainless steel inlay.
On the back, the new handset comes with handcrafted leather, which sports the Medusa head. The Versace Unique comes with a sapphire crystal screen, the largest single piece of this material to be produced for consumers. The screen is scratch-proof, smooth and receptive, offering an enhanced experience when it comes to controlling the device's touch interface.

Versace Unique handles all the duties of a phone, 3G network, client e-mail, media player, full-powered 5-megapixel flash camera and netbook.
