Gresso, a popular maker of high-tech luxury mobile phones, announced today the launch of a new series of devices in the exclusive collection of Grand Monaco mobile phones, namely the Gresso Grand Monaco Sport. According to the company, the main key feature of the new model is the original carbon leather it includes, a material used until now in race cars.

According to the company, the manufacturing of a device from this leather is a complicated and expensive process, as this is genuine leather specially curried, reinforced and decorated by the carbon coating. The material comes with features such as ruggedness and lightness, as it is much lighter than steel or aluminum.

“Grand Monaco Sport case became streamlined, reminding about the world of high velocities and strong and self assured people. One can feel dynamics and spirit of active and vivid life in the new design. A coating which is used there, being a business card for Grand Monaco phones, is hi-tech ceramics which is applied in space industry,” the company notes.

The keyboard present on the Sport series has been made out of the thinnest polished steel, which is coated with titanium superalloy so as to deliver a mirror-black surface in addition to resistance to mechanical factors. The numbers and letters of keys have been cut with laser, the company states, adding that the navigation keys are made of surgical steel.

The Grand Monaco Sport Series includes two models, one with black ceramics and black leather, and another one with metallic ceramics and metallic leather. Gresso adds that the personalization service it offers to its clients is available with the new devices too, offering those interested in the phones the possibility to create individual images for their handset.

The newly unveiled Gresso Grand Monaco Sport Series can be purchased from Gresso's website, the company announced. The price tag for the device has been set at $2,800.
