Verizon Wireless announced a new daily subscription option for V CAST that gives users an alternative way to try the V CAST service. Customers with V CAST-enabled phones can use V CAST whenever they want for $3.00, buying them 24 hours access time. "With the new V CAST $3.00 daily pricing option, millions of customers with V CAST-enabled phones can now get music videos, recaps of hit television shows, movie trailers, plus news, sports and entertainment programming and more whenever the urge strikes, making it easier than ever to access the entertainment and information they want while on the go," said John Harrobin, Vice President of digital media for Verizon Wireless. The new offer allows Verizon Wireless customers with V CAST-enabled phones to access all of V CAST offerings without signing up for a $15.00 monthly subscription. The V CAST daily pricing option is available on several phones, including MOTOKRZR K1m, Motorola RAZR V3c and V3m, LG VX8500, LG VX9800, LG VX8300 and VX8100, Samsung SCH-a990, SCH-a930 and SCH-a850. Both the monthly and daily subscriptions offer customers unlimited basic video and there are no airtime charges for downloading, streaming or watching V CAST video. Application download and content fees apply for 3D games and premium video.
