A handful of very lucky “Twilight” fans had the chance of a lifetime when they were invited by none other than the Queen of Television Oprah Winfrey to private screenings of the upcoming installment in “The Twilight Saga,” out this June, “Eclipse.” Though bound by a non-disclosure agreement, most of them took to their Twitter to share their impressions with the rest of the world, People magazine informs.

From what they’re saying, the third film based on the popular series of books by Stephenie Meyer is a certified winner. Granted, those who’ve seen it can’t really say anything specific about it, be it plot, acting or editing, but their “Uhs!” and “Ahs!” on the Twitterverse should be more than enough to convey a general impression of how they liked it. Not that Summit expected less from the loyal Twilight fanbase, for that matter.

“Abbreviations and expletives are flying through Twitter as the lucky few who saw The Twilight Saga: Eclipse this week at a screening with Oprah Winfrey offer their ecstatic – though cryptic – reviews. The audience was sworn to secrecy about the details of the movie, but the overall reaction to the early cut was a huge thumbs-up. ‘I just saw Eclipse. Oh my [expletive] god,’ writes Nicolediscogrll. ‘Best movie I have ever see. The fight scenes the love scenes oh my god.’ She adds: ‘I wish I can talk about the movie but I can’t. But you will NOT be disappointed and the love scenes are [expletive] HOT’,” People magazine writes, citing just one of the few fans who saw the film.

AMAZING movie. That’s ALL I’m saying… I loved it. And it was two months early, which makes it more awesome. And I’m gonna see it again June 30,” TrendingJB tweets. “Eclipse left me speechless… I couldn’t contain myself. Everyone should be GLAD the movie turned out AMAZING,” Shannon_Haile assures fans fearing the adaptation would turn out like “New Moon.” vivian_ortiz agrees, tweeting, “Eclipse was amazing!! Can’t wait to see the final version!!”

As we also noted on previous occasions and many Twilight fans agree, “New Moon” failed to come across as the kind of film adaptation fans expected it to be, despite getting similarly raving reviews before the release. With this in mind, it’s no wonder many thought “Eclipse” would suffer the same fate – luckily, that seems not to be the case but, just like with any other movie, only time will tell.
