Three new smartphones were announced as being on their way to wireless carrier Three UK's offering, namely the HTC ChaCha, HTC Wildfire S and HTC Desire S, all of which went official at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. All three smartphones run under Google's Android operating system, and pack various features that should provide users with a great mobile experience.

Sylvia Chind, Head of Branded Devices said, “The HTC ChaCha, together with the brand new Desire S and Wildfire S, are excellent additions to our smartphone range and really showcase the best that Three’s network has to offer.

“HTC devices have been extremely popular with our customers this year and offer an excellent user experience so we are very excited to confirm we’re ranging their latest leading handsets.”

The new HTC Wildfire S, which was launched as the successor of last year's Wildfire, sports a 3.2” TFT display (320 x 480 resolution), complemented by a 600 MHz processor, and a 5MP photo snapper with LED flash.

The hardware specs of this device would include a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storages space, HTC Sense on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), and great web browsing features.

The larger HTC Desire S features a 3.7” S-LCD touchscreen display, a 1 GHz application processor microSD card slot (up to 32GB), 5MP camera with LED flash, Front facing VGA camera for video calling, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi, and more.

As for the HTC ChaCha, it was announced as one of the two Facebook phones HTC would bring to shelves soon, powered by Google's Android platform and sporting a dedicated button through which users can share content or update their status.

The specs list of this smartphone includes a 2.6” TFT touch display and QWERTY keyboard, 5MP camera with LED flash, front facing VGA camera, or a 600 MHz processor, all inside a device that measures 114 x 66.5 x 10.88mm.

“Having looked into our customers’ favorite social networks and places to visit online, we know just how popular Facebook is. Ranging a smartphone which allows our customers to use the internet how they like to most is exactly what we’re about,” Sylvia Chind stated.
