New and old technology

Team Fortress 2 is one of the most popular online games currently available on the market, largely due to the fact that the team at Valve put a lot of effort in developing it and offered many different experiences to all the gamers who are playing it right now.

Part of these new experiences are the periodic updates made in order to introduce new features to the game. As always, the next update also has a character class that it will improve, in the form of the Sniper. We've already seen his bow and arrows and the new mode and maps he would bring to the game and now we've reached the third day of announcements about this update.

Today it seems that a long-time problem of the lonely Sniper has been solved, as he always fell prey to sneaky Spies who would run up to him and stab him in the back. Now, their job is that much more difficult as he has received the Razorback, an old-fashioned shield from his native Australia outfitted with a car battery that will provide a shocking surprise to all spies who try to backstab him.

After providing a sustained shock to any spy foolish enough to attempt to stab it with his knife, the shield will evaporate, leaving the Sniper's backside vulnerable once more. But don't think you can stab him again if you are playing the spy as your knife will enter a cooldown mode, leaving you vulnerable to the now quite angry Sniper.

But all of these advantages do come at a price, as the shield is quite heavy and will impair the movement of the Sniper, making him move more slowly and leaving him vulnerable to shots from the front. You will be able to take all of these new features to your Team Fortress 2 experience soon enough, as Valve will release the update in the following days.
