Huge touchscreen, low memory space

The Japanese are among the most skilled when it comes to technology. So why should they let the iPhone get all the credit for managing to provide evolved solutions for mobile communication? The Sophia Nani manages to pack all the performances of Apple's handset, even with some upgrades at certain points and drawbacks at others.

The most impressive aspect about the Sophia Nani smartphone is the fact that it has a 4.3 inch TFT display. It's actually a huge touchscreen which can compete with any other one coming from similar devices. That sure tops the 3.5 inch display that Apple has put on their iPhone.

The screen is capable of a resolution of 800 x 400, which turns out to be one of the best solutions for watching videos or even mobile TV. Sophia Nani also has a TV tuner included, just one of the many multimedia performances that this device is capable of providing for his user.

The smartphone works on Windows CE and has a 600 Mhz processor. Moreover, it supports WiFi, great for making the package of performances almost complete. Unfortunately, its two cameras are capable of extremely low performances, as one is VGA and the other SVGA. Moreover, there has been no word specified on the internal memory that the Nani phone will come packed with. It has a microSD card slot, but that is sure to fail in competing with the iPhone's 8GB capacity.

Probably the greatest drawback about the Sophia Nani is that it can not be used outside Japan. They're keeping all the good stuff for themselves, which means that the iPhone will still be the next best thing that we can thrill over.

Sophia Nani will be available starting with next week only in Japan. The estimated price that it will be available for has not been specified yet.
