Japanese-Swedish mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson unveiled the T715 slider a little more than a month ago, and now it seems that the company is also getting ready to bring the phone to the United States market. The Sony Ericsson T715 has been spotted wandering through the FCC courtyard, where it has received approval to be used in the country.

The handset, as many of you might already know, comes with a 2.2-inch display that boasts a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, and also includes a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper with video recording and geo-tagging, 3G connectivity, microSD memory card slot for additional storage space, support for GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and UMTS HSPA (850/1900/2100), along with Bluetooth with A2DP, USB port, and other capabilities.

There are no details on when the phone will become available for purchase in the country, yet it shouldn't be too long before specific information will surface. Until that happens, you might want to take a look at a special edition of the company's W508 handset, namely the Sony Ericsson W508 Bob Sinclar Edition. For the time being, it has been announced to come only to select European markets, yet there are great chances that it will reach other areas as well.

What the handset has to offer includes the same specs as the original device, only that it comes with a Style-Up cover and a wide range of preloaded content: pictures, themes, ringtones, and more. In addition, the handset will also include in the box a new album from Bob Sinclar, called “Born In 69.” We’re talking about the same Walkman clamshell we're accustomed with, only that it sports a few more music-oriented features. According to SEMCBlog, the Bob Sinclar Edition of W508 should land this quarter, yet it seems that details on its pricing are lacking at the moment.
