14 DAY TRIAL // Electronic Arts and Klei Entertainment have confirmed that Shank 2 will be released onto the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 at the beginning of February.
The original Shank impressed through its violent gameplay and stylized graphics, so its successor wants to further improve on its mechanics, while eliminating the frustrating boss battles.
We’ve already seen quite a lot of the downloadable game, including screenshots and various videos that showed off its enhanced combat.
Now, the two companies have finally confirmed a release date for the side-scrolling brawler. Shank 2 will be out for the PC and PlayStation 3 in North America on February 7, while Xbox 360 and European PS3 owners get it one day later, on February 8.
Shank 2 will cost $9.99/€9.99 or 800 MS Points, depending on your preferred platform and region.
