The new entry-level devices come with rather nice features

Samsung announced recently the launch of new handsets that would fit into its Guru-series lineup of mobile phones, namely the Guru 1070, Guru 1100, Guru 1125, Guru 1210, Guru 1310 and Guru 1410, all of which are meant to go on sale on the Indian market.

The Samsung Guru 1070 and Guru 1100 come with the Bright Torch Light function, as well as Advanced Mobile tracker, a 65K Colour CSTN display, speakerphone, as well as 40 polyphonic ringtones. The Samsung Guru 1070 is an entry-level device that features Bright Torch Light of up to 40 hours.

In comparison, the Samsung Guru 1100 comes with Bright Torch Light up to 20 hours, as well as with MP3 downloadable ringtones, and the popular game Sudoku pre-installed, and also includes the Mobile Prayer feature, allowing users to set their Mobile Prayer according to their religious preference. The Guru1070 and Guru1100 feature price tags of Rs.1649 and Rs.1779, respectively.

The Samsung Guru 1125, Guru 1210 and Guru 1310 come to users with FM capabilities. All three phones sport a 65K Colour CSTN display, along with Advanced Mobile tracker, 40 polyphonic ringtones, and Hinglish database. The Guru 1125 is a clamshell that delivers a Glossy front design, as well as a long battery life even when listening to FM radio. It also sports the Mobile Prayer feature.

The second device, Guru 1210, is a candybar that can provide users with up to 12 hours of talk time, as well as Stereo FM for up to 20 hours. The price tags of the devices are as follows: Rs.2149 for the Samsung Guru1125, Rs.2259 for the Guru 1210, while the Guru 1310 is priced at Rs.2649.

The last of the new devices is the Guru 1410, a handset that includes Mp3 playback capabilities on its built-in Dual Loud Speakers, while also featuring 4 MB of internal memory, support for up to 2GB of additional memory, Stereo FM and Bluetooth connectivity. The Samsung Guru 1410 comes with a 1GB Micro SD memory card and costs Rs.3,429.
