Both with touchscreen displays

Wireless carrier Orange UK plans on releasing some appealing handsets on its airwaves in the near future, among which Samsung S5620 Monte and Samsung S8500 Wave are included. Both devices are set to offer users a great option when it comes to staying connected with friends and family over social networking sites, and will soon join the Black HTC Desire on the carrier's lineup.

“Get connected with the Samsung S5620 Monte. With an expressive design of contrasting colours this phone has great features like a suite of social networking applications and fast internet browsing. The enhanced touch screen makes it easy to use and the large display makes for easy viewing. Take photos with the 3.2 megapixel camera and Geo-tag your location or check out your tunes on the MP3 player or FM radio,” the carrier states about the first of the new Samsung phones.

The specifications list of Monte includes a 3-inch full touchscreen display, HSDPA 3.6 Mbps connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm audio jack, A-GPS support, FM radio with RDS, MP3 player, microSD memory card slot with support for up to 16GB of additional storage space, and a battery that can offer up to 4.8 hours of talk time, or up to 18 days of standby time, all inside a device that measures 108.8 x 53.7 x 12.4 mm and weighs in at 92g.

As for the Samsung Wave, it is the first handset from the South Korean phone maker to run under the company's own bada OS. With a fast processor inside, a large touchscreen and great social networking features, the Wave is set to show that bada is capable of delivering a great user experience. Moreover, it includes HSDPA 7.2Mbps, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, A-GPS, accelerometer, FM radio, music player and more.
