Samsung Fascinate is the latest Galaxy S model that should become available for purchase on the market in the United States, following the release of Vibrant and Captivate, and the upcoming availability of Epic 4G.

This version of the high-end device should be released on Verizon Wireless shelves before the end of the ongoing year, but no details on its specific availability were provided until now, at least not officially.

However, it seems that it might not be too long before Big Red gets its share of Galaxy S too.

According to a recent article on Phandroid, the first Samsung Fascinate units have started to arrive in Verizon's warehouses, pointing towards a near release, most probably in early September.

Moreover, some rumors suggest that this handset should become available for purchase before September 12th, and for a good reason, it seems (info on a September 9 launch started to emerge).

Reportedly, the MTV Music Awards are sponsored by the “Samsung Fascinate a Galaxy S phone” and “Verizon Wireless,” among other, which makes it highly probable that the phone's launch would be near that day.

However, until that happens, we should take a look at some leaked training documents for this device that were brought into the wild by BGR.

These documents confirm most of the hardware specifications that were already known on Fascinate, while also offering details on new features.

The same as Vibrant and Captivate, the phone should pack a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, the 4-inch Super AMOLED display, a 5MP camera, Bluetooth 2.1, and other more.

For example, Big Red is set to pre-load the Fascinate with goodies such as Bing Maps, Google Maps with Navigation, NFL Mobile App, Amazon Kindle, Visual Voicemail, Backup Assistant, Blockbuster, Skype Mobile, Vcast Videos, and VZ Navigator.

At the same time, the said documentation point towards the arrival of Flash Player 10.1 on this device by “Year End 2010,” suggesting that one should not expect for Android 2.2 to be released for this one anytime soon.
