Now that they've more or less confirmed they're an item, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are plagued by speculation about their possible future wedding. According to a new report, it would have taken place “yesterday” had it been for Robert.

Playing lovers onscreen since “Twilight,” it's just this year that Robert and Kristen gave half-confirmations to the media about their real-life romance.

Hollywood Life says that they would have been married already if Robert had his way. Since he didn't, he had to listen to Kristen, who wants to take things slower.

“Rob, 25, and Kristen, 21, tell their friends that they already feel like 'an old married couple' because they spend their free time watching documentaries, reading and cooking huge meals!” HL gushes.

Moreover, they've already met the parents, which means things are very serious between them. Robert, however, might be thinking farther than Kristen.

“Rob would have married her like yesterday. But she is happy with the way things are,” an insider is quoted as saying.

As fans must know, this is not the first time that word gets out that, in the relationship, Robert is the one who is more committed, while Kristen insists on a more laid-back, “we'll see what happens” approach.

Even if they're not married as Robert might have wished, they still get to spend a lot of time together, the report further argues.

“They go to Kristen’s parents’ house and make big meals. Everyone helps cook. Her mom and dad welcome him as if he’s their own. They crack to everyone that they feel like an old married couple,” the insider explains.

Even after confirming they're an item, Kristen and Robert have continued to be very protective of their personal life, obstinately refusing to be photographed together unless it's part of the promotional campaign for a movie.

Fans are lucky, because, with “Breaking Dawn Part 1” arriving in theaters today, they've been doing a lot of appearances together to promote it.
