QuickOffice Brings Its Productivity Solution on the Vivlio Tablet

Advanced Systems Research Technology Corporation (ASRTCorp) and QuickOffice have just announced that they have signed a new partnership that will bring the latter's office solution on the Vivlio tablet.

ASRTCorp is an electronic and software provider, which manufactured the Vivlio tablet, a device aimed at the education market in Asia.

QuickOffice's popular productivity suite solution optimized for Android tablets will provide viewing and editing capabilities of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files to Vivlio users.

Furthermore, the tablet allows users to manage and manipulate documents within the app's proprietary Connected File Manager, which features integrated access to popular cloud storage providers, including Box.net, Dropbox, Google Docs, Huddle, SugarSync and MobileMe.

Quickoffice will provide our tablet users much-needed functionality to help address all their Microsoft Office document creation and editing needs, and the company has a proven record in delivering comprehensive, user-friendly applications,” said Peter Perlegos, CEO, ASRT Corporation.

ASRTCorp's sees Quickoffice's productivity solution as an essential utility for education professionals and students.

Vivlio users will be provided with three powerful editors that include advanced features, such as page layout editing, insert and rotate images, formula builders, as well as the ability to create new presentations.

We see a lot of great tablets being built specifically with the education market in mind and are excited to partner with ASRTCorp, as the company is providing innovative solutions for the sector,” said Gregg Fiddes, SVP of sales and business development at Quickoffice.

In addition, Quickoffice offers support for local and remote search of files for quick location of documents while on the move, and allows teachers to use the device's HDMI output to make presentations in the classroom on larger screens when available.

According to ASRTCorp, Vivlio features a capacitive touch screen display with multitouch capabilities, as well as HDMI, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity.
