Pink Confirms Pregnancy on Ellen DeGeneres

Only days after being photographed at the beach in a two-piece swimsuit and rocking an unmistakable baby bump, Pink has confirmed that she’s pregnant in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, E! Online reports.

The singer taped her Ellen appearance and confirmed the happy news for all the fans who have been reading the rumors that she was with child: the rumors are all true, she says, but she had her reason for not coming forward earlier.

And that reason was that she wanted to be sure about it before going on the record with the happy news. She already had one miscarriage, so her precaution was more than justified.

“I didn’t want to talk about it because I was just really nervous and I have had a miscarriage before, but if I was going to talk about it with anyone, it was going to be with you,” Pink told Ellen, as cited by the aforementioned e-zine.

Ellen, being Ellen, rushed right to the point and asked Pink THE question the moment she sat down. Was there any particular reason she was so “glowing” these days, she asked.

“Oh, so many reasons,” Pink said. “That’s it? That’s the question? I’m eating for two these days,” she added.

Pink also revealed that a baby was in the plans for her and husband Carey Hart, saying that things were utterly perfect now, after they reconciled following a brief split in 2008.

“I never had anything in my life that I didn’t work hard for and my relationship is that. We worked really hard and we had our little meltdowns, a couple of them, and now... we both needed to do that and come back together. It’s just yummy,” Pink gushed.

The singer also revealed that, to her amazement, she may be having a little girl, a thought that terrifies her because she doesn’t want a girl like she was when growing up.

“I don’t think I want to know, but the doctor kind of told me what she thinks. I’m terrified because she thinks it’s a girl,” the singer revealed.

“My mom has always wished me a daughter just like me. I’m terrified one of us will go to jail,” Pink also said.
