It might be fake in the end

Finnish mobile-phone maker Nokia is already known to plan renaming most of its new devices, based on the capabilities they will come to the market with, and now we learn that yet another Xseries handset might be in the works, namely the Nokia X10. Moreover, it seems that the new mobile phone might arrive on the market with the Symbian^3 operating system on board, being another device based on this OS flavor the company has in store for us for the ongoing year, after info on a Nokia N8 and on a N98 already emerged around the web.

The Nokia X10 Symbian^3 handset emerged in a video on YouTube, which shows only some documentation on the device, but nothing solid. As UnwiredView notes, there are no certainties on the video not being a fake, yet there are great chances that the Nokia X10 is a real deal, and that we'll soon have the chance to see the device on shelves with all that new OS goodness of its.

When it comes to the purported specs of the new mobile phone from Nokia, we can count a sliding QWERTY keyboard, multiple homescreens with auto rotation, a 3.2-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, a 600 MHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU inside, coupled with 256 MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash on the back, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity options, A-GPS, and 32/16GB of internal storage.

The X10 moniker might be only a codename for the device, since an X10 is already set to make its appearance on the market from Sony Ericsson, but no specific details on this have emerged until now. One way or the other, in case the handset is real, it shouldn't be too long before it will be officially unveiled, especially since Nokia made no new device announcements in Barcelona, although it was expected to do so. Take a look at the video below and don't forget to check back again for additional info.
