Nokia enhances worldwide mobile entertainment by making the Nokia N81 and Nokia N81 8GB multimedia computers available globally, starting today. The two handsets, created to bring the best in both music and games, feature dedicated music and game keys and come with enough memory for anyone to store more music and play more than ever.

The new 3D Multimedia Menu
that the N81 handsets come with enables users to easily discover and enjoy digital content and Internet as well as share experiences with others. The menu represents the first step to Nokia Nseries' new user interface.

Jonas Geust, Multimedia Vice President at Nokia, said: "Accessing your portable music and games collection is not enough anymore. Today people want to be more in control of how and where they consume their digital entertainment. They want to discover new favorites and share them without being confined to one location - and it's devices like the Nokia N81 that facilitate this."

Nokia N81 and Nokia N81 8GB make the Nokia Music Store accessible to users, helping them discover millions of songs and create and manage playlists with the integrated Nokia Music Player. Compatible high-quality speakers or headphones can be used with the default 3.5mm headphone connector, for enhanced sound quality.

Both handsets include previews of the N-Gage games service, as playable demos of EA SPORTS FIFA 2007, Space Impact Light and Asphalt 3: Street Rules come with the phones. The full N-Gage application will be available for download later this year, after its launching. Gamers are allowed to try any N-Gage game for free and buy only the ones that they like.

The standard version of the Nokia N81 comes with an estimated price of $510 (360 EUR), while the Nokia N81 8GB should be available for about $610 (430 EUR), no taxes included.
