New Syndicate Gets Impressive Gameplay Trailer and Screenshots

Syndicate, the upcoming first person shooter reboot of the older strategy series, has just received a batch of impressive screenshots, not to mention a great-looking trailer complete with gameplay footage.

Syndicate was finally announced by Electronic Arts, its publisher, and Starbreeze Studios, its developer, last week, and has just received a concrete release date yesterday, arriving in North America on February 21, and Europe on February 24, for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Now, the two companies have let loose a great looking trailer, showcasing the variety of gameplay options in the new shooter, not to mention the overall feel, which is quite similar to the recent Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

While it's not quite the reboot old Syndicate fans wanted, you can't deny that it looks mighty impressive, so it's worth giving Starbreeze and EA the benefit of the doubt before writing it off altogether.
