One of the latest Nokia cellphones, released for Verizon Wireless, is Nokia 6315i. It has a relatively low price, nevertheless, it's a good phone.

Although it came out under the Nokia brand, it's in fact made by Pantech, a South Korean mobile phone manufacturer which originally named it PN-315. But let's leave aside these details and concentrate over the phone's features.

At 3. 5 x 1.87 x 0.72 inches, 6315i looks quite good, being simple and elegant. The external display has 96 x 96 pixels, with up to 65,536 colors, and a 1.3 megapixel camera with the highest resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels. This little camera comes with a flash, a 2x digital zoom and can record and playback videos at 15 fps.

6315i has an integrated handsfree speakerphone with options like voice dialing, voice command and voice recording. For the music maniacs out there, 6315i can be a very good friend, as it provides media player controls on the outside, so you can play, pause, forward or rewind the songs without actually opening the phone. Music downloads are available through V CAST, and you can also download applications, screen savers, wallpapers, games and ringtones.

The internal memory has 21.5 MB, so 500 contacts can be stored in the phone book. For each contact you can add up to five phone numbers and an email address, as well as photos and personalized ring tones. A calendar, a stopwatch, alarm clock and world clock, notes and a calculator are some of the other features of this phone. For more memory, you can add a 2 GB MicroSD Card.

Bluetooth, WAP and EV-DO support are available, and if you need web browsing or fast email downloads from your PC, a modem connection can be established.

6315i is approved by FCC and has a 10 days stand-by time and a total talk time of 3.8 hours.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money but you like to have a nice and valuable cellphone, think about Nokia 6315i. It might suit you.
