14 DAY TRIAL // Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal are the hottest “it” couple, reports say. Now that word got out they spent last weekend together, more details about how romantic it was are emerging.
As we also informed you earlier this week, Taylor reportedly brought Jake to an SNL taping. After that, the two continued to hang out, thus prompting talk of a budding romance.
It would seem that it’s just now that eyewitnesses are starting to come forward with more specifics about the new love affair – and with confirmation that the two are really in love.
According to spies speaking to Us Magazine, after SNL, Jake (29) took Taylor (20) apple picking. Unfortunately, there are no photos available because the two managed to fly under the radar this time.
“The two were spotted Saturday at the Fishkill Farms in Hopewell Junction, N.Y, where they toured fall foliage and went apple-picking,” the magazine writes.
“They were walking through the trees, having fun together. They looked happy,” says a local who, of course, saw them together.
“Some of the customers tried to take a photo of them, but they were hiding from them in the trees. They drove through the orchard and bought the apples on the way out,” another spy reveals for the same publication.
Apparently, Jake, always the gentleman, paid for the apples himself – $3 –, the same publication is intent on noting.
“It was just the first stop of a romantic Big Apple weekend, which included a trip to a SNL taping and Sunday brunch in Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood,” the publication further says.
As another source explains for the same media outlet, the two have not been dating for long but they’re both very determined right now to make it work because they like spending time together.
“The relationship is very new, maybe two or three weeks old. I’m not sure who pursued whom – but they’re both into it,” says the third spy.
Before this, Jake Gyllenhaal dated Reese Witherspoon for quite some time, while Taylor Swift’s most recent rumored boyfriend is teen sensation Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob the wolf in “The Twilight Saga.”
