As we were pretty much expecting, LG's CES 2011 roster has been a pretty comprehensive one, including a wide variety of home – entertainment products, such as the brand-new INFINIA PZ950 3D Plasma Display with Smart TV features, that we'll talk about as follows. First and foremost, we'll have to mention that this latest addition to the INFINIA PDP lineup has quite an attractive external design, but also plenty if advanced display features, such as the 1920 x 1080p Full HD resolution, Mega Contrast Ratio, TruBlack filters and 600Hz max Sub-field Driving for smooth, blur-free and vivid images.

However, that's just the start, since the INFINIA plasma display is, in fact, a “Smart TV”, that offers fast and easy access to all the services and online content made available via LG's Home Dashboard.

And since we're on the topic of content, it's also interesting to note that the new INFINIA 3D PDP sports a Smart Share function that enables users to stream video from their PC directly to the TV, without involving any wires in the process.

The TV can be controller in a very intuitive manner via the Magic Motion Remote Control included in the sales package, while the Intelligent Sensor will help it save energy, depending on the environment conditions.

“LG is dedicated to re-inventing the boundaries of Plasma TVs, and the PZ950 represents another step forward in the industry,” said Havis Kwon, President and CEO of LG Home Entertainment Company.

“Our own research has consistently shown that picture quality, content and ease-of-use are the most important factors to customers looking for a new TV, and the PZ950 delivers all three in great style,” added Mr. Kwon.

Sadly, the company's announcement says nothing about possible pricing or availability, so it's quite likely that we'll have to wait a bit more for these important details to become available.
