The people operating on the Need for Speed Blog have announced a contest for iPhone owners and players of the Need For Speed: Undercover iPhone port. Titled “iPhone Undercover Competition: Customize for the Win!,” the contest has NFS fans creating an awesome custom vehicle to be featured on NeedforSpeed.com, the blog’s Facebook page, as well as on iTunes. A $25 iTunes gift card is also to be had by the person who emails the best looking screenshot.

“Do you think you've got the best customized car in the gaming world? If so here's your chance to show off and win gift vouchers for the iTunes store as we're running a great competition with our friends at EA Mobile,” the announcement on the Need For Speed Blog reads. “We’re starting this competition now but you’ve got plenty of time to perfect your car if you've not bought the game yet as we're running the competition each week during August. To take part in the first week's competition make sure you get your entries to us (via email) by Friday 7th August,” the folks handling the website say.

The post continues to reveal that the blog’s team of Need For Speed experts will select a winner every week during August. Winners will have their own set of wheels posted on the aforementioned website (and iTunes). Each of them will receive a $25 iTunes gift card, while all weekly winners will then go into a grand competition at the end of the month, when the best ride will be awarded the Grand Prize of $250 of iTunes vouchers.

“If this wasn’t good enough (and it should be) your screenshot will be feature in the iTunes store on the Need For Speed Undercover product page,” the NFS Blog team adds and also explains how to take a screenshot on the iPhone and where you can find it afterwards.

All this being said, only US residents are eligible, while only one entry per week per person is allowed. To submit your entry, simply email a screenshot to [email protected], the post explains.
