Although true audiophile-grade products are rarely affordable, that's exactly what the people over at NuFoce claim, in connection to their newly-introduced NE-700X headphones, that allegedly pack a very interesting set of features at a surprisingly low price point.

According to NuForce, the NE-700X features a precision-machined aluminum chassis that minimizes resonance to the vanishing point, while also being particularly easy to carry around, given the fact that it weighs just around 15.4 grams.

Additionally, the titanium-coated 8mm drivers provide sweet, extended highs, a warm and silky-smooth midrange, authoritative bass, and a lifelike soundstage, at least according to what the manufacturer has to say on this topic.

The headphones from NuForce pack a level of impedance of around 16 Ohms, while the frequency response range is also quite OK, ranging from 20 to 20kHz.

The new headphones offer a rated power of 3mW, a Max. Input Power of 10mW, a level of sensitivity of 105 dB+/-3dB, and come with a 3.5mm plug.

Additionally, the NE-700M model includes a hands-free microphone with a pickup button for answering phone calls and operating your music device’s playback and fast-forward features.

The microphone sports a sensitivity level of -38dB +/-3dB, is omni-directional, and supports a maximum input sound level of 115db S.P.L.

The suggested retail price of the NE-700X earphones (available now) is $65, while the NE-700M (set to ship in late January) sell for around $79, a couple of price points that, as mentioned right from the start, seem to be a bit too good to be true, compared to some of the other audiophile-grade products of this type available on the market.

It's also worth mentioning that, beside the earphones, the sales package also includes 3 pairs of single flange ear-tips (2 small, 2 medium, 2 large) and 1 pair of triple flange ear-tips, plus a carrying case.
