We already reported a few days ago about Motorola's plans to bring the RAZR in China, and the company has just made it official.

Starting late November, Motorola RAZR will be available in across select stores in China. However, the phone will be retailed as Motorola RAZR XT910, and is likely to have a TD-SCDMA version as well.

A mysterious Motorola RAZR MT917 was spotted a few days ago by China's equivalent of the FCC (Federal Communication Commission), which might indicate that the handset will be offered by a Chinese major carrier, probably China Mobile.

Motorola plans to prove RAZR's capabilities during a launch event held on Beijing’s trendiest venue, Jing Yuan, where “China’s most influential business leaders, high fashion designers and top tier celebrities” will be invited to attend on November 4.

The original Motorola RAZR turned mobile phones into objects of desire for the first time, here in China and around the world. With the new Motorola RAZR XT910, we’ve done it again, with design and abilities that will have you rethinking what an Android smartphone should be. We dare you to pick one up and not be impressed,” said Frank Meng, corporate vice president and president of Motorola Mobility, China.

The handset maker explains that, while Motorola RAZR XT910 is a work of art, is also a force to be reckoned with.

Parts of the phone are covered with KEVLAR fiber and Corning Gorilla Glass, and is protected by a splash-guard coating.

Among the highlights of the superphone there's a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor, a PowerVR SGX540 graphics processing unit, 1 GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel camera with full HD (1080p) video recording capabilities.

The phone is powered by Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread and comes pre-loaded with MOTOCAST application that allows users to stream content from their PCs to the phone.

An Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade has already been confirmed for early 2012.
