Motorola India has just confirmed that the thinnest LTE-enabled smartphone, the RAZR will be launched in the country in November.

Even though reports were pointing to a possible Motorola RAZR launch for the next week, the folks at BGR India received an official statement that confirms the release of the smartphone in India for this month.

However, Motorola Mobility stated that the exact release date and price options have yet to be announced.

Unveiled two weeks ago, Motorola RAZR is expected to arrive in the United States in the next few days via Verizon

The superphone is powered by Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but Motorola confirmed last week that Motorola RAZR, Bionic and XOOM will be receiving the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in early 2012.

Moreover, the company is expected to announce additional Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich devices six weeks after Google releases the final version of its mobile platform.

The RAZR is one of the slimmest smartphones available on the market at only 7.1mm, but Motorola built this one to last.

Motorola RAZR sports KEVLAR fiber and Corning Gorilla Glass that protects the screen against scratches and scrapes, while the splash-guard coating on the outside, as well as inside, make the phone waterproof.

The device is delivered with Motorola MotoCast application that allows users download content from their computer directly to the RAZR.

Hardware-wise, Motorola RAZR is equipped with a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor, a PowerVR SGX540 graphics processing unit, 16 GB of internal memory, 1 GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Its 4.3-inch screen is based on the Super AMOLED Advanced technology and supports 16 million colors and 540 x 960 pixels resolution for crisp and vivid images.

In addition, Motorola offers customers who purchase the RAZR the option to order themselves a dedicated Lapdock 500 Pro, which comes with a built-in keyboard and 14-inch HD resolution screen.
