It seems that Motorola canceled the Q model

According to several sites Motorola's Q arrival in Europe has been delayed. Instead only the CDMA/Verizon will be released. Also, the French website Mobinaute states that Motorola has confirmed that the model Q has been canceled, promising instead a new product that will hit the market: the Q smartphone long rumored, RAZRberry. Other sites claim that Motorola will not give up a very promising product like the Q model.

The Q smartphone measures 4.6 x 2.5 x 0.45 inches, features a 240 x 320 widescreen display, full QWERTY keyboard, D-Pad, keys required for Smartphone navigation as well as a thumbwheel to ease one-handed operation and EL backlighting like the RAZR.

Unfortunately, Motorola had many problems with their smartphones. Last year they had to cancel the production of the much anticipated MPx and the smaller version MPx 100. Replacing the Windows Mobile 5.0 with the new Linux OS would be a very good idea if this is the true reason of the delay. The Q model was expected to hit the market on December.
