14 DAY TRIAL // Mobile phone maker Motorola announced recently that its high-end Motorola Milestone was expected to arrive on the market in Spain in mid-March. According to the company, the handset is set to become the first Android 2.1-based device in Spain, while also being capable of setting a new standard when it comes to the speed and multi-tasking capabilities of a smartphone.
The Motorola Milestone arrives in Spain as the world’s thinnest QWERTY slider (13.7mm), while also including a high-resolution, multi-touch, pinch and zoom display, and a high-speed, cortex A8 processor inside. In addition, users will also enjoy a suite of Google mobile applications with the phone, including Google Search, Google Maps, GMail and YouTube, as well as the possibility to download and install even more applications via the Android Market.
The specifications list of the phone includes a 3.7-inch widescreen display, a 5-megapixel photo snapper with dual-LED flash, Stereo Bluetooth / BT 2.1, USB 2.03, a 3.5mm headset jack, GPS, CrystalTalk Plus technology for superior talk quality, a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space, with an 8GB memory card included in the package, not to mention Motorola Media Link and Motorola Phone Portal for media content management and sharing. The phone also includes support for email (IMAP and POP, Gmail), IM, MOTONAV turn-by-turn navigation, Google Maps, synchronization with Google Calendar, and more.
