New World-War II experience exclusively for Xbox 360

Midway Inc., leading interactive entertainment industry publisher and developer, announced Jan. 29, 2007, that Hour of Victory, a new cinematic WW II based first person shooter, is currently in development for Microsoft's Xbox 360 and is due for this summer.

This game is an exclusive to the Xbox 360, it is based on World War II and is supposed to be one of the most graphically-advanced games for the Xbox 360. There is going to be a lot of Vehicular combat and destructible environments. Covert Operative, a British Commando and a Sharpshooting Army Ranger are the three roles available to be played.

Lots of destructible environments and a huge inventory of weapons (straight out from WW II) including M1 Garand and German MP44 assault rifle among many others are to be found.

Hour of Victory beautifully combines authentic details from historic World War II battles and adds cinematic gameplay having been built with the powerful Unreal Engine 3.0.Whether as a covert operative, specializing in stealth and sabotage, or a British commando proficient in the guns-blazing frontal assault, or even an Army ranger who is an expert in sniping and demolitions, gamers are able to play each level in the style they choose, the possibilities being practically endless.

Players will also be able to take control of any vehicle on the battlefield which they can use to get to key points and battles from the European and North African Theaters.
