Twelve Interactive presents it's new daring project

Fighting games... Everybody knows them and agrees there aren't many things left to improve in the concept of the game - two characters fight, one wins. It's easy... But Twelve Interactive tried to do something that many other developers have forgotten to: experiment with and implement new things.

Though there aren't too many pieces of information available about this project, a few interesting features have been made public. The most important one seems to be the combination between classic fighting and sport or RPG titles. This means that, if you want to become the best in the world, your fighter will now have to train skills like endurance, speed, leg and arm strength. But you can't train if you don't have the money, and the money is earned by winning fights - so you will enter a new and interesting universe where losing will never be an option if you want to be successful. Sounds pretty neat and we already want more details!

Until then, we have to remember that Martial Arts: Capoeria will have 12 fighters available, each with 10 customizable skills, able to compete in the classic game modes (Tournament, Arcade, Quick Fight or Survival). To get money, you can bet against other fighters in outlawed Street Fights and, since we are talking about fighting, you should know that Twelve Interactive say there are hundreds of motion-captured moves to be admired in various and authentically reproduced cities all around the world.

The game will be distributed worldwide by Graffiti Entertainment and it will be available for PC and all games consoles in the fourth quarter of 2008.

Giuseppe Crugliano, Managing Director of Twelve Interactive, says: "Martial Arts: Capoeira is an extremely ambitious game, that deserves a great partner like Graffiti Entertainment. Thanks to this partnership we can put in the best resources and count on the professional support of the Graffiti team." Let's hope we'll get more info about this soon.
