The N, MTV's nighttime network for youngsters, has been launched on Sprint's Vision and Power Vision mobile content services.

By making this important move, the N Mobile, as its name is after the presence on a mobile platform for the first time in its history, will offer behind the scenes content from the most viewed shows aired on the network (for example Degrassi: The Next Generation, South of Nowhere and Beyond the Break) and a full range of video clips.

The content offered to the Sprint customers will be updated once a week and will be available on select Sprint multimedia mobile phones and to the Sprint Vision and Power Vision subscribers that are willing to pay the extra 4.95 a month plus the standard data charges that guarantees an easy access to all the goodies offered by the N Mobile.

This was the next step for the MTV company in their goal to be present on every screen and by adding to its digital portfolio the N Mobile next to the MTVN Kids channel, the Family Group and the highly successful MTV Networks the company has accomplished its long life goal to offer its global audience with a relevant and innovative video content experience.

Paul Jelinek, the vice president of digital media products for the MTVN Kids and Family Group, has declared that "launching The N Mobile on Sprint is a natural evolution of our overall multiple platform strategy as we continue to produce, program and distribute content on different platforms to super serve our audiences. Teens are increasingly on the go and some of the heaviest of wireless users. We are now able to provide them with a new way to interact with their favorite personalities and programming from the network, to further extend The N experience beyond the home".
