Kody Brown and fourth wife Robyn are expecting their first child together – and the family’s 17th

That’s a lot to take in, but fans of TLC’s reality show “Sister Wives” should have no problem with it. Kody Brown, husband to 4 wives and father of 16 children, is adding another kid to the brood: his most recent wife, Robyn, is pregnant.

Kody is legally married to Meri, but is also the husband of Janelle, Christine and, now, Robyn. With the first three, he has 13 children, while Robyn also has 3 from a previous marriage.

They are about to welcome into the world their very first bundle of joy, People magazine confirms, citing the two proud parents themselves.

“You should have seen the look on his face when we found out. It was priceless,” the expectant mommy gushes for the celebrity mag.

Kody, who married Robyn last year in a ceremony that was also featured on the first season of their reality show, is equally overjoyed.

The baby, he says, will strengthen the bond their share, thus bringing them much closer together.

“I’m overjoyed. This connects Robyn and I together in a way that nobody can take away…” he says for People.

Now that he’s already had so many children, he will also be able to get Robyn through the most difficult moments of pregnancy with ease.

After all, experience is not something that he lacks here.

“I try to always be kind and tender, but when a woman is expecting, you have to be ultra sensitive. And always do the dishes,” he says for the aforementioned publication.

In one of the first promo interviews for season 2 of TLC’s “Sister Wives” (the family has now relocated to Vegas), Kody admitted that, while his wives and children are a handful, he wouldn’t have it any other way.

He also wouldn’t even consider taking a fifth wife – for now, at least.

“Right now we kind of feel like four [wives] is enough... It was 15 years from the time that I married Christine to the time that I married Robyn. I’m not the marrying man,” he said, as we also informed you.

“Ask me [if I’d take another wife] in 10 years. Let us have a honeymoon. Let us have an experience where we’re getting very comfortable with each other as a family. But wait 10 years. It’s not happening soon,” he added.
