Kimberly Stewart gives birth to Benicio del Toro’s daughter, names her Delilah

Just a few days ago, Kimberly Stewart gave birth to a baby girl, her first child with actor Benicio del Toro, with whom she was only briefly linked. A new report says she now believes the child will help her get back together with del Toro.

The pregnancy announcement came straight out of the blue, even generating some talk about how Benicio was not at all happy with Kimberly’s decision to keep the baby.

A source is now telling Radar Online that seeing him at the hospital for the birth and how much of a supportive dad he is has rekindled hope in Kimberly’s heart that she will be with Benicio again.

“Kimberly Stewart is thrilled to be a new mother, but Radar Online has exclusively learned the rocker’s daughter still wishes it had worked out with baby daddy, Benico del Toro,” the e-zine says.

A source confirms for Radar that, indeed, Kim is again getting her hopes high that her doomed romance with del Toro, which never really took off the ground properly, will live to see another day.

“Kim and Benicio still see each other and talk for the sake of the baby, but it’s not romantic and Kim wishes it were,” says the spy.

Of course, getting romantic with Kimberly is the last thing on the actor’s mind right now, the spy adds.

“They weren’t really ever dating to begin with, just sort of hooking up for a month, then boom – she was pregnant,” the insider explains.

For the time being, though, the two are taking their time, experiencing parenthood one step at the time.

The birth was not easy, another insider explains, so Kimberly doesn’t even want to think about having another baby right now.

“It was a tough birth for Kim, but she’s a tough cookie. I think having any more children is the last thing on her mind right now!” reveals the spy.

In a recent statement, Kimberly’s father Rod Stewart has let it slip that they named the baby Delilah.
