Kendra Wilkinson and husband Hank Baskett welcomed a baby boy in December last year. Unlike other celebrities who, in less than two months, get back their pre-pregnancy body, Kendra still carries some of the weight she gained while being with child – and, from what she’s telling People magazine, she plans on maintaining her curves.

Over the weekend, Kendra put on a swimsuit for the first time since giving birth, a low-cut, black one-piece in which she looked positively stunning. People caught up with her and asked her whether she was eager to get her body back in the shape it was before becoming pregnant. Surprisingly, the former Hugh Hefner girlfriend revealed she did not want to be as skinny as she had been back then and that she planned to keep her hourglass silhouette.

“My plan is to not go back to my original size. I’m just working with the body I have now. And I want to keep the hips. I want to keep that hourglass shape. I think that’s so much [hotter],” Kendra told People while doing hosting duties at a party at the Wet Republic in Las Vegas over the weekend. To get the body she wants, the star makes sure she doesn’t overeat and that she keeps as active as possible. “Dance is a huge thing. If you want to lose weight and have fun, just dance,” Kendra added.

Husband Hank Baskett also said that he had fallen in love with his wife’s fuller figure and was actually opposed to the idea of her losing weight to get back her pre-pregnancy body. “When she put her bikini on, I was like, ‘Damn!’ It’s looking incredible... I don’t know how she got back like this quick, but that’s my baby, and all I can say is damn,” Baskett said for the same media outlet.

Throughout her pregnancy, Kendra Wilkinson kept her fans well up to speed with everything that was changing in her life, including her weight. She admitted she did not even attempt to fight cravings, talked openly about how much weight she’d gained and about plans to shed the extra pounds once the baby was born.
