It’s a little over three weeks that an interview John Mayer gave to a men’s publication saw the light of day and got him branded as a kiss-and-tell type of guy. In it, the singer went into lurid details of his relationship with Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston, with the former going on Oprah now to talk how that made her feel, as MTV can confirm.

A sneak peak of the interview has already been aired, with the full interview to follow. It sees the former country singer and pop darling almost on the verge of tears as she reveals that Mayer’s comments about the most intimate specifics of their romance have made her a little bit “angry” and upset. Things like the ones he discussed in the aforementioned interview should never go to print, Jessica says, because they’re personal and she doesn’t “want people to know how [she’s] in bed.”

Another topic that Simpson talked with the Queen of Television, as Oprah is often dubbed in the media, is that of whether she’s comfortable in her own skin or not, especially in light of last year’s “fat-gate,” when countless tabs and reputed newspapers jumped at the chance of criticizing her for her weight. She was never fat, Simpson says, though the media tried to make it look that way. As far as she’s concerned, she’s made peace with the idea that she’ll never be as thin as she was years ago – the rest of the world seems unable to do so too, unfortunately.

“On Oprah, Simpson also talked about the public reaction to her weight gain last year. ‘You were a size 4 and people were calling you fat?’ Oprah asked the pop star on her show. Although she received support from celebrities and sister Ashlee, Simpson admitted that it’s still a sore subject. ‘It’s a really hard thing for me to talk about,’ she said. But the resilient star seems to have turned that negative experience into an opportunity, since she’ll explore the issue on her new show ‘The Price of Beauty,’ set to debut March 15 on VH1,” MTV says.
