It looks like HP, Dell and Globalfoundries aren't the only IT companies making staff changes.

Intel has just announced some management changes of its own, namely promotions and rotations.

For one, worldwide manufacturing senior vice president Brian Krzanich has been made COO (Chief Operating Officer).

Secondly, the position of CPO (chief product officer) has been granted to Dadi Perlmutter, who will continue to lead the Intel Architecture Group as well.

Meanwhile, Andy Bryant will become a full-time executive chairman (he used to be vice chairman of the board).

All in all, Intel is doing its best to prepare for the challenges ahead (mobile CPU adoption, the apparent decline of the Atom CPU, overall better products, etc.)

The Santa Clara, California-based company announced some more changes to the layout of its leading staff. People interested in all the business details can go here and read all about it.
