All of those plus some new things

The Halo franchise is one of the most popular series of video games out there, revolutionizing the whole shooter experience on a console. While the first two titles, Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 appeared for the original Xbox, thus boosting its popularity sky high in territories such as North America, the third installment, Halo 3, has been met with huge anticipation by fans all across the world.

Now, as the Bungie team is hard at work making their last Halo-related project, since the studio will no longer be working on the series, departing from the Microsoft ownership, it seems that this expansion to the last title, Halo 3: ODST, will feature quite a lot of things. Most importantly, it seems that some of the team members wanted to assure fans that it would have all of the multiplayer maps already released for the original Halo 3.

“Just some minor housekeeping this week. We wanted to address an oft-asked, but pertinent question about the Halo 3 Multiplayer content that will ship with Halo 3: ODST this Fall. All twenty-four Halo 3 Multiplayer maps will be in the box. All shipping maps: The Heroic Map Pack, The Legendary Map Pack, Cold Storage, The Mythic Map Pack, and three brand new exclusive maps are included.”

While it seemed like a pretty obvious thing, it’s nice to see that Bungie wants to clarify the problem for all the fans of the franchise. While the other packs have already been released, fans are still eagerly anticipating the Mythic Map Pack, which will be launched soon, but which still doesn't have a concrete release date.

Hopefully the Bungie team or Microsoft will soon let us know when these new maps will arrive and offer new details about ODST. Until then we can still enjoy playing as Master Chief in Halo 3.
