A few days after it was officially introduced by Verizon, the HTC Trophy is making the round-up of all major retailers in the United States.

The last on the retailers list is Newegg, which is now selling the Trophy for just $99 with a new two-year Verizon agreement.

That's about $50 cheaper than the price offered by Verizon on its webstore, so customers who are looking to acquire a cheap Windows Phone 7 smartphone should take advantage of Newegg's deal.

Although the retailer does not mention if this is a time-limited offer or if it is available until the stock lasts, the HTC Trophy is likely to be the subject of numerous deals from other retailers in the near future.

However, potential customers should be aware of the fact that, if they buy the HTC Trophy before July 15 directly from Verizon, they will also get to choose one of the following Xbox 360 console games offered for free: Halo Reach, Kinect Sports and Lode Runner.

While Newegg's deal does not offer such a bonus, it still is $50 cheaper than the carrier's price, which might be what it really counts in the end.

Specs-wise, the HTC Trophy is equipped with a single core 1 GHz Snapdragon processor manufactured by Qualcomm and a 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen.

The WP7 phone's 5-megapixel photo snapper features autofocus, LED flash, as well as video recording capabilities (720p).

Other interesting features of the phone include 16 GB on-board storage, 576 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, and GPS with A-GPS (Bing Maps).

In addition, the smartphone comes bundled with HTC Hub and Microsoft Office package, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint with the Office Hub and data access on SharePoint servers.

The phone is powered by a standard 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery that should provide up to 286 hours of standby time or up to 5 hours of talk time.
