HTC Sensation, the newest flagship handset from the Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation, has made an official appearance in Singapore today, and is set to become available for purchase as soon as tomorrow.

The handset, running under Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and boasting a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, features the latest version of HTC's Sense UI, with all of the features and enhancements it was packed with.

Starting tomorrow, mobile phone users in Singapore will be able to purchase the Sensation for $838 from all mobile operators and authorized retailers in the country.

The new device comes with great entertainment features, including support for HTC’s new HTC Watch video service, as well as with a premium design, rounded edges and an aluminum unibody construction.

“HTC is proud to continue to revolutionalize the mobile multimedia market and bring forth a new generation of pocket-sized entertainment centers,” said Lennard Hoornik, President, South Asia Pacific, HTC Corporation.

“The HTC Sensation takes the multimedia smartphone to another level by combining the great new HTC Watch entertainment experience with the latest HTC Sense experience to deliver a powerful and amazing experience to our customers.”

The specifications list of the new device would include a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a qHD resolution, along with the said fast 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon application processor.

Moreover, the new mobile phone comes with support for WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as with 3G support, built-in GPS receiver, and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

On the back, it sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper with support for HD 1080p video recording, as well as a front camera for video calling.

The high-end smartphone also comes with support for a wide range of Google Mobile Services, including Search, Maps, Gmail, or YouTube, as well as for applications available for download via the Android Market.
