We reported earlier about the HTC Prime, a mysterious mobile device which has just showed up for the first time in Telstra Australia's inventory system.

Thanks to the guys over at XDA.cn, we now have additional information about the phone's specs sheet.

First of all, opposite to what we may have initially thought, the Prime is not an Android-powered smartphone, but a Windows Phone 7 device.

Furthermore, the handset features a slider form factor and packs a full QWERTY keyboard.

As seen in the picture, the phone's keyboard is different from other HTC smartphones like HTC Desire Z and HTC 7 Pro. HTC Prime's keyboard buttons are oval shaped unlike the aforementioned devices which feature rectangular keys.

The HTC Prime comes with a 3.7-inch WGVA touch screen display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution and packs a standard 512 MB RAM memory.

It also sports an average 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, autofocus and video recording capabilities.

Other features leaked include HSDPA technology, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as GPS with A-GPS receiver with Bing Maps.

Although there's no mention of the phone's processor, it is likely that the Prime will be powered by a single 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU.

HTC Prime will be delivered with the latest Windows Phone 7 platform, including the NoDo software update.

Unlike other Windows Phone 7 devices, the HTC Prime seems to stand out through its superior finish and sleek form.

Unfortunately, there are no details about the phone's price or release date for the moment.

However, rumors say that the HTC Prime will be officially introduced next week at the 2011 CTIA Wireless event in Orlando, Florida, along with the Ignite and Pyramid.

It looks like HTC's presence at the CTIA Wireless 2011 will be consistent, if the devices that have leaked recently will indeed be showcased next week.
