According to rumors that emerged back in February, HTC Pyramid is a dual-core Android smartphone scheduled to be released in the second quarter of the year at T-Mobile USA.

The device was expected to be showcased during the 2011 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, in February, but eventually proved a no-show. The Taiwanese manufacturer hasn't revealed any official information regarding the Pyramid mobile device so far.

A few weeks later, the HTC Pyramid resurfaced in Telstra Australia's ordering system. This proves that the mysterious device is indeed real and could be officially introduced soon.

In addition to the yet-unannounced HTC Pyramid, the Telstra Australia ordering system mentions the HTC Saga, as well as another new device called HTC Prime.

So far, the rumors suggest that the Pyramid is an Android-based smartphone, although there's no mention about the platform version, powered by Qualcomm's new dual-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2 GHz (MSM8260).

The device is supposed to come with a huge 4.3-inch qHD capacitive touch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 960 x 540 pixels resolution. HTC Pyramid should support HSPA+ network, which makes it fully compatible with T-Mobile's 4G mobile network.

Unfortunately, there is no information regarding the HTC Prime for the moment, except its codename.

The HTC Saga was spotted for the first time in February and it was officially introduced at the 2011 MWC under a different name, HTC Desire S.

As a reminder, the Desire S is a mid-budget smartphone powered by a single 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, complemented by an Adreno 205 GPU. The handset runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread mobile platform out-of-the-box and packs 1.1 GB ROM and 768 MB RAM.

Regardless if the HTC Pyramid will be heading to T-Mobile USA, it is expected that the device will be officially introduced next week at this year's CTIA Wireless event in Orlando, Florida.
