Wireless carrier T-Mobile USA has just slashed the price tag of one of the hottest mobile phones on their airwaves, the HTC HD7, which is now available for purchase for only $99.99 upon the signing of a new contract agreement.

The HTC HD7 is the largest Windows Phone 7 smartphone that arrived on the United States market in November last year.

Packing a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, the new mobile phone was launched as the successor of the high-end HTC HD2, which made it to T-Mobile's airwaves in early 2010.

Released on shelves at the wireless carrier with a price tag of $199.99 attached to it, the new Windows Phone 7 device was made available for purchase via HTC too, and is now on sale at T-Mobile for only $99.99.

However, the wireless carrier notes that the 50 percent price cut is available only for a short period of time.

The company also states that those users interested in taking advantage of the deal would have to commit to a two-year contract agreement on a qualifying plan, and that the offer also includes a $100 mail-in rebate card.

As for what can the HTC HD7 smartphone offer, here's what the wireless carrier notes on its website:

Seamlessly bring entertainment, work, and family together in one place with the new HTC HD7:

- Features the largest screen available on a Windows Phone 7 smartphone. - Instantly watch hit TV shows and movies streaming from Netflix. - Features best-in-class productivity with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.

For those out of the loop we should also note that the new HTC HD7 smartphone was included in the company's Buy One Get One offer, and that those interested in learning more on the matter should head over to the nearest local T-Mobile store for that.

The $99.99 price tag for HD7 is available on the wireless carrier's website too, here, and those should would like to benefit from it should head there to learn additional info.
