In an attempt to beat Wirefly's deal, online retailer Amazon Wireless has recently slashed DROID Incredible 2's price to $0.01.

We reported earlier that Wirefly offers HTC's DROID Incredible 2 for just $1.99 with a new two-year Verizon agreement.

It appears that Amazon didn't like that and made an 'incredible' counteroffer for an 'incredible' phone, the Incredible 2, which can now be purchased almost for free.

Although the retailer throws in free Two-Day shipping, potential customers should be aware of the fact that carrier's approval process may take up to 24 hours.

The phone's sales package is on the average side when it comes to extra accessories and includes: micro USB cable, AC adapter, Global roaming buckslip, micro SD card, preinstalled SIM card and warranty card.

HTC DROID Incredible 2 is the sequel of the popular Incredible smartphone and made its debut on Verizon Wireless' airwaves in April.

The smartphone is equipped with a single core 1 GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor, complemented by an Adreno 205 GPU.

Powered by Android 2.2 (Froyo) and the next-generation HTC Sense user interface, the Incredible 2 offers even more ways to stay connected, including FriendStream, which delivers Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr updates.

Also known as Incredible S, the handset comes with a large 4-inch S-LCD capacitive multi-touch screen with 16 million colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

The Incredible 2 packs 1.1 GB ROM, 768 MB RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 8GB memory card included).

With an incredible 8-megapixel main camera that features autofocus, dual-LED flash, touch-focus, face detection and image stabilization, users will be able to capture the most precious moments and share them with friends and family via Facebook.

In addition, the smartphone sports a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

HTC DROID Incredible 2 is powered a 1450 mAh Li-Ion battery that should provide up to 360 hours of standby time or up to 6 hours and 30 minutes of talk time.
