The first two months of the New Year bring the biggest and most important award shows in movies, but we’re looking forward to some major events in music as well. On January 26, 2014, the Grammys 2014 will be taking place.

Duo Daft Punk has been confirmed for an appearance to perform since mid-December, but, as it turns out, they won’t be up on the stage alone because they will be sharing it with none other than music icon Stevie Wonder, as executive producer Ken Ehrlich confirms, as cited by The Guardian.

The Grammys 2014 will mark the duo’s first live performance in support of the latest album “Random Access Memories” and their first televised performance since the Grammys 2008, when they shared the stage with rapper and self-titled god and genius Kanye West.

“We learned that because they had such a good experience with us when they appeared with Kanye in 2008, they were happy to discuss a performance on this year's show,” Ehrlich explains.

“Conversations took place over a period of a couple of months, and finally they agreed to be a part of this year's telecast. Details of the performance are still being worked out, but the idea of having the exclusive television performance by this iconic band is something we're very, very excited about,” the producer adds.

Other acts who will be performing include Pink, Kendrick Lamar, Imagine Dragons, and fun.
