The line-up of performing artists at this year's Grammy Awards is beginning to take place. The most notable and probably most anticipated performance is by the French dance duo Daft Punk. The band is notoriously shy about public performances, despite its huge success with its hit album “Random Access Memories” from this year.

This isn't the first time the French band is performing at the Grammy, having already had an act in the 2008 show with Kanye West. Interestingly enough, the two robotic helmet-wearing artists have not performed on television since, making this show that more special.

Daft Punk are running in the Grammy for their album “Random Access Memories” which might take home the Album of the Year award, and also for their single “Get Lucky” featuring Pharell Williams which is nominated for Record of the Year.

Other stars slated to appear during the live show are Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons who will be performing together, Pink and Nate Ruess from Fun. All of the acts are nominees in one category or another.

The Grammys will be taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on January 26, 2014.
