A recently leaked internal memo from U.S. Cellular shows that the company intends to turn June into a month of mobile phone releases, as there are five new handsets that await to see the light of day on its airwaves this month. According to the leak, these devices range from a simple phones to a smartphone powered by Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system.

The first handset to come to U.S. Cellular this month is the Motorola Hint QA30, which seems to have been slated for a June 4 release. The phone will actually be re-released, as it turned out to have some problems in the past, and it seems that tomorrow it will finally go live with the wireless operator.

LG UX840 Tritan is the second device that the carrier will launch, and it should become available as soon as next Monday, June 8. The phone comes with a sliding form factor and sports a 3-inch QVGA touchscreen and a 3-megapixel photo snapper, along with full QWERTY keyboard, G sensor, an HTML browser, music player and Bluetooth connectivity. According to the news, it will come with U.S. Cellular’s premium data/Internet package for $19.95 per month.

Another basic handset that comes to the operator is Samsung Axle R311, expected to land on June 10 in a clamshell form factor, and it should be accompanied by another device on June 18, only that it will be a smartphone this time, the Samsung Code. Powered by Windows Mobile, the phone comes in a candybar form factor, sports a QWERTY keyboard, a 2-megapixel camera and Bluetooth connectivity, and it will become available with a Windows Mobile Package.

The last handset that U.S. Cellular should release this month is BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8320, which seems to have been slated for release around June 20, though it might come a little bit later. For what it's worth, the small carrier seems determined to offer its users a nice range of devices in the near future.

Moreover, it looks like the launches will not end when the month is over, as the company also plans to come to the market with another LG device, the LG UX700, which should be released sometime in the July – August timeframe. This candybar handset should feature a 3-inch touchscreen, a 2-megapixel camera, virtual QWERTY keyboard, music player and Bluetooth connectivity, while being reported to require the same premium data/Internet package as the LG UX840 Tritan. The memo can be found here.
