Five-Minute Long Nexus One Video Available

Nexus One by HTC, the latest start of the headlines, has made another public appearance. This time around, we can enjoy watching it playing nicely in a video that is much longer that the bits and pieces we saw before: a five-minute long video walkthrough, which emerged on YouTube not too long ago. Besides that, there is also a new photo gallery with the handset available, and one can see it put side by side to the Apple iPhone, as well as to one of its older brothers, the HTC Hero.

The video with Nexus One comes from France this time and, although one might find it a little too blurry, it does show some of the handset's features and capabilities. The Nexus One by HTC is said to be the Google Phone and, if you heard about it before and the rumors haven't made you want it, than this video might do so. The phone seems to be very responsive, even if it still lacks some features that many might have wanted them to be there, such as multi-touch.

There is little known about the device for the time being, but more might emerge in the near future, especially if the rumors regarding its launch in early 2010 prove true. However, we should also mention the fact that Google is also said to plan unveiling the device at MWC, which means that there are about two months of waiting laying ahead, since the Congress will take place in February in Barcelona, at least this is what a recent article on mobilenewscwp states.

One way or the other, the device will still arrive on the market in the first quarter of next year, it seems, and should be launched on more markets besides the US, it seems. However, it should be interesting to see whether the Nexus One name will remain on the device when it reaches the shelves. The name is said to have been taken from sci-fi writer Philip K. Dick's novel 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep', and the writer's family says Google hasn't approached them on the matter.
