Modern classrooms are becoming increasingly high-tech and interactive, students being able to participate to the courses in a much more direct manner, using for this purposes special devices such as the Engage WirelessLCD from uWriteTouch, that we'll talk about as follows.

So, what the Engage WirelessLCD does is to sync wirelessly with a computer and replicate its desktop, including video, while also allowing for complete touch-screen annotation over projected material.

The device comes packed with a 10.1-inch widescreen touch-screen LCD display (both finger and stylus operation supported) and built-in USB technology, allowing users to make annotations at distances of up to 30 feet from the computer.

The device also packs six user-assignable buttons, or "hot keys," along the top side, enabling the user to instantly launch a favorite Web site or any software desired.

Moreover, it's also interesting to note that this thing is actually quite environmentally-friendly, since it eliminates the need for markers, erasers, and related supplies, while also allowing users to print out images directly (given the fact that it connects to a host computer).

“We are very pleased to bring this exciting new instructional device to classrooms. The Engage WirelessLCD is such an intuitive product and so easy to learn that users are ready to deploy its interactive power in minutes,” said uWriteTouch President, J.R. Gayman.

“Schools as well as business training programs will enjoy a dramatic boost to presentations while saving money and the environment. For anyone interested in making learning more stimulating and engaging, this is it," the company's president concluded.

Last, but certainly not least, it's important to mention that, according to uWriteTouch, their Engage WirelessLCD solution is much more affordable than some of the other interactive whiteboard solutions out there, although you'll have to contact them directly in order to find out whether this statement is true or not by obtaining a price quotation.
