Andrei Dumitrescu: Since Tuesday, when the biggest video game launch of the year up until now has taken place, the only thing on my mind has been Starcraft II. Blizzard has delivered another solid game experience, managing to walk the fine line between pulling on the nostalgia of the player base and introducing gradual change to the mechanics of the real time strategy series.

We now have a full review of Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty on Softpedia, where you can read more about the mechanics and the story of the video game. I plan to move into the Challenges now, seeing if Blizzard has really create a series of missions that can actually prepare someone for the challenges of online play, and then take a spin on Battle.net seeing how hard I can be beaten by more experienced players.

And when Zerg, Protoss and Terrans finally bore me I will take a closer look at The Saxons expasion for King Arthur from Neocore Games, which is supposed to add some more structure to an already interesting mix between role playing and strategy.

Mihail Cernea: Like almost every other PC Gamer in the galaxy, I will dedicate my weekend to Blizzard's long awaited StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. I will not engage only in the singe player story campaign, but also poke around the the multiplayer and the challenge modes which are all great fun.

Blizzard have really come through for the fans with this game, maybe not in terms of innovation, but the wealth of content and the amount of polish are astonishing. The mission design is truly incredible, take the very traditional core formula of the title to new level. I am really curious now about how the developers will keep things interesting in the following two expansions to come. If Blizzard has already managed to annoy a ton of girlfriends with World of Warcraft, it will be interesting to see what will happen now, when strategy gamers have something to do for the next five years or more.
