14 DAY TRIAL // During the first day of the E3 2011 conference, Capcom has released a few more details about its upcoming DmC Devil May Cry reimagining, including a series of screenshots, a special trailer with gameplay, and even a movie deal that has been confirmed with Screen Gems.
Capcom's Devil May Cry series remained dormant for quite a while after the fourth title, but the company is now working with UK-based studio Ninja Theory on a reimagining of the hack and slash series, starring a new version of its main hero, Dante.
The game raised quite a lot of uproar among fans last year when it was introduced, largely because not a lot of details were actually presented.
Now, the Japanese company has showed off a few more things about DmC Devil May Cry, including five beautiful screenshots and a trailer which you can admire below.
What's more, fans of the series should look forward to seeing the new Dante on the silver screen, with Capcom announcing that a movie adaptation deal has been signed with Screen Gems.
"Capcom Co., Ltd. and Screen Gems have announced that Screen Gems will develop a live action feature film entitled “Devil May Cry” which will be based on the newest introduced video game in the series titled “DmC Devil May Cry”.“Devil May Cry” is popular stylish action games series known for its unique characters and smooth controls," Capcom revealed on its official blog.
"The games have been a huge success selling over 10 million copies around the world. This success has led to the creation of comic books, an anime series and action figures all based on the game. Additionally the series latest game title “DmC Devil May Cry” is now being developed as a feature film. The film adaptation will be written by Kyle Ward who has written the screenplays for several upcoming projects including “Hitman 2” and “Kane and Lynch”. "
