Capcom released a variety of impressive gameplay trailers with its upcoming DmC Devil May Cry game, but this latest video takes the cake, as it spans 26 minutes and shows an in-depth look at the game’s fighting and combo systems.

The Devil May Cry series has been around for quite some time but, with the newest DmC installment, Capcom is overhauling the franchise with the help of British developer Ninja Theory.

The game finally received a release date earlier this year and, last week, fans found out that Vergil, the brother of protagonist Dante, would also appear in the hack and slash experience.

Now, Capcom has posted another gameplay video with the title, this time showing off the movement, fighting, and combo mechanics.

The footage is quite extensive and definitely shows that, underneath the new visual style, DmC is still a Devil May Cry game.

Check out the video above and get ready for the game’s release on January 15, 2013, for PS3 and Xbox 360, and later next year for PC.
